Greg Ward Jr. is an American football wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Houston Cougars as a quarterback and converted to wide receiver after going undrafted following his college career. He was a member of the Eagles’ practice squad in 2017 when they won Super Bowl LII. He also played for the San Antonio Commanders of the Alliance of American Football (AAF) in 2019. In week 15 of the 2019 season, Ward caught seven passes for 61 yards and his first touchdown of his NFL career in the Eagles’ 37–27 win against the Redskins. Ward would total nearly 300 yards after becoming one of Carson Wentz’s favored targets at the end of the Eagles season.
